Do you drop ship your products?
No. Every piece is designed, cut, assembled and finished by hand in Brooklyn, New York. You may come across imitation products online; these are not affiliated with us and don't reflect the standards or care behind our original pieces.
Where is VellureGallery based?
VellureGallery is a Brooklyn, New York studio making parametric wood wall sculpture: flowing, three-dimensional pieces that catch the light and change as you move around the room.
What's your return policy?
Every piece is made to order specifically for you, so we don't accept general returns or exchanges. Instead, every piece is covered by a lifetime guarantee (below), and if it arrives damaged we'll replace it or refund you. If you're unsure about size or finish, message us before you order and we'll help you choose.
Do you have any warranty?
Yes, a lifetime guarantee. If a joint, rib or finish fails because of how your piece was made, we'll repair or replace it for as long as you own it. Email Velluregalleryco@gmail.com with your order number and photos. Read the full guarantee.
Where are your products made & by whom?
Every piece is made by hand in our workshop in Brooklyn, New York, in our own studio, one piece at a time.
I saw a similar piece for sale elsewhere, is it the same product?
Our designs are only available through our official store. Unfortunately, our designs have been imitated by unlicensed manufacturers, and none of these copies reflect the quality, materials or craftsmanship of the originals. If you come across a similar-looking piece, especially one mass-produced overseas, it is not affiliated with us in any way.
When will I get my product?
Production starts as soon as your order is placed. Natural (unstained) pieces ship in about 5 business days; stained pieces ship in 2–3 weeks, because staining and finishing is done by hand and needs time to cure. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your piece ships.
Is shipping included?
Yes, shipping is complimentary anywhere in the USA. International shipping is calculated at checkout; customs duties and import taxes are paid by the buyer.
Can I order a custom size or finish?
Yes. Commissions start at $5,000. Start a commission and tell us about your space, and we'll reply with ideas and a quote.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Shop Pay Installments is available at checkout for eligible orders.
Is your wood finish "non-toxic"?
Yes, all of our wood finishes are non-toxic.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
We take great care packing every piece, but if yours arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement or refund you.
Do you have a physical store?
We operate exclusively online and do not have a public storefront. Our workshop is located near 68 Jay Street in Brooklyn, New York.
Does it come ready to hang?
Each piece ships uninstalled to protect it in transit: the ribs and the numbered wall bracket travel separately, and screws and wall anchors are included. Installing it takes about five minutes. Fix the bracket to the wall, then slot each numbered rib into its matching number on the bracket. See our installation guide.
How do I clean the wall art?
Wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid harsh cleaning agents.
Will the color and grain be exactly as shown?
Each piece is one of a kind, with natural variation in birch grain and tone.
Can I hang it vertically?
Yes. Simply adjust the metal brackets behind the wood railing.
